To operate reliably, those wind turbines need synthetic lubricant to protect their intricate mechanics from wear and tear and help reduce downtime. At ExxonMobil’s Shanghai Technology Center, the Automatic Dilute Particle Counter (ADPC) improves the accuracy of monitoring the cleanliness of synthetic lubricants used in the wind turbines across China by removing gas bubbles, water and additives.
